Tour A Local Tour - 9:00 AM
Visit the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge Park
Visitors Center - Black Point Wildlife Drive.

Lunch; Between 12:00 and 2:0PM at
Rusty's in port Canaveral (on your own)

Continue tour with visit to the:
Veterans Memorial Center
400 S. Sykes Creek Pkwy, Merritt Island.

Approx. 4:00PM return to the Hotel
  
Tour B Visit the National Police Hall of Fame.
The Nation's First Museum, Attraction and Memorial
Honoring All Police in Federal, State, County and Local
Departments. The American Police Hall of Fame was founded in
1960, and is Nations First National Museum and Memorial to
Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty.
Admission Senior Citizen & Military $8.00 pp.

Lunch between 12:00 and 2:00PM at the Durango's Restaurant
(on your own, and next to the Hotel). After Lunch continue tour
with visit to Fort Christmas Historical Park - opened on Christmas
Day in 1837 - located 10 miles West of Titusville - historic fort
was set up after Spain turned Florida over to the US in 1821, and
was one of 200 forts built during the Seminole Wars.
Features a small museum contained in the Fort and an open air
Museum which contains buildings used by our forefathers, Scenic and Relaxing.

For people unable to participate in the scheduled tours, we suggest the following local attractions, which you can see on your own. These suggestions are described in the brochures included in your Welcome Pack:

  1. Helicopter Tours - available adjacent to the Astronaut Hall of Fame

  2. Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum, Located on St. Rd. #405

  3. Midway Airboat Rides - Just west of the BWSSI on State Road 50. An Airboat Ride on the St. John's River, giving you a chance to enjoy an unusual ride while witnessing some of our native creatures in their natural habitat.

  4. Kennedy Space Center
